The Night Before Halloween…Party Prep!

I can’t believe we have almost reached the end! Only one day left of October, and one more day until my small Halloween Party. I have mentioned my party a bit here and there over the past month, but I wanted to share more about it!

If you have seen my blog website, you can guess the theme. Yes, for my avatar I drew over a photo and made myself a reptilian XD. It’s kinda spooky, but it’s only for Halloween!

I’m sorry if this is your first impression of my blog LOL

This is my first time “hosting” a party, and it’s really just a small get-together with my family. I got inspired to do a Conspiracy Theory Party from videos on social media, and it seemed like a really fun time! You can find a lot of videos of other people’s parties, but here is how I am setting mine up:

The first thing I did was make the invitations. I cut out letters from spam mail and printed out the rubric to glue onto the back. For my party, everyone chooses a conspiracy to make a presentation on and present. There are no content or length rules, as long as they try to be convincing. The presentations will be judged by The Board!

The next thing I worked on was the infamous conspiracy board, where all the pieces of a puzzle are connected by red string. Here is a photo I found online since mine won’t be complete with string until tomorrow, but I just glued anything and everything onto the Kraft paper.

Mom surprised me with Halloween gift bags, caution tape, candy, and glow sticks, and even more decorations! I hadn’t blown up a balloon in so long, I didn’t realize how weak my lungs were! I was winded after only one balloon.

I used the gift bags for my party favors. I made some cryptid “oracle” cards or ATCs with small quotes, whichever word you would like to use for them works lol. I wrapped them and used a leaf stamp to make it a real mystery (you can see what they look like here), and I also had some custom buttons made!

I have learned from this first attempt. I wasn’t really happy with how they came out, but I gave an extra one to my sister and she wore it for three days straight, so hopefully everyone else likes them.

When the party starts, everyone can grab their manila folder (this has the judging rubric and the order of presenting), their goodie bag to fill with candy, and make glow stick bracelets and tin foil hats.

I tried to make some flat Earth cookies by adding food coloring to a sugar cookie mix. I thought these were going to turn our mouths blue and green, but when they baked, all the color disappeared! I have no idea what these cookies are now… maybe flying saucers? Lol, it was a fail. At least we have popcorn balls, my favorite!

Blue and green where??? It’s gone!

I made a short introduction slide show, and after that the fun begins!

I used a free Slides template

Everyone will present their conspiracy on the TV and the audience will judge based on how convincing or believable the claim is. After everyone has presented, the person with the highest grading number will win a first place ribbon medallion magnet that I made. Everyone will get a medal, it’s another party favor! I think I will get last place, even though I am the host haha.

These should say “Conspiracist”… Oops

Today was spent putting things in their spots and finishing up my own presentation. Tomorrow, I will clean up the rest of the way and prepare for the party! I may bake some oat dog treats, you already know they will be dressed up in little outfits. Maybe I will make a game out of it and have the dogs “sniff out the NPC” by hiding the treats under boxes with faces on them.

That’s about all for the party! In other news for today, I randomly decided to put on some dog makeup and go over to Dylan’s and eat Frito chili pie for lunch. Chili Dog! Are you shaking your head because you are impressed or disappointed?

Some sort of spotted dog… mwahaha

Happy Halloween-eve! See you tomorrow for the last day of Blogtober!

Aka Half the oval office👏🤣💀 The party prep looks and sounds fantastic. Super creative.

I am in Cancun for my friend’s wedding. And there are giant iguanas just chilling in the grass. I’ll tell them to send my regards to their master.

  2. This kind of party sounds awesome…

My conspiracy that I’m passionate about is that the 2002 NBA Finals were rigged, because the team that won that year brought better TV ratings than my team, whom they supposedly beat. No one ever attempts 27 free throws in one quarter. And when you punch a guy in the face, steal the ball, and the guy lying on the ground bleeding gets called for the foul, something is suspicious. Not even dying sadly and tragically in a helicopter crash could make me ever respect said puncher. I won’t even say his name, because it’s like a filthy swear word for me.
