It is due time for another Mail Monday, and I have a good haul to show off what I sent out and what I have received since the last segment! Let’s get right into it.
Received
Zine
I received this zine that was full of pretty floral images and encouraging quotes. I am slowly building my Zine collection of others’ work after 7 years of making my own personal ones. I am enjoying trading a lot!

ATCs
ATCs– Artist Trading Cards that use a strict size rule of 2.5 in by 3.5 in.

Going by date that I received them, I was sent that beautiful mixed media card with watercolor flowers by @geekgirl1001000 on Swapbot. I love all of the texture it has. Next, this cucumber about to be turned into a jar of pickles is from @wolfeagle. I am slightly scared LOL. Both of these were sender’s choice swaps, so there’s no theme.

By the same author as the pickles, I received this snail for an “Add Spirals” theme. This one has a lot of cool texture as well, and I think they used a paint pen to draw the snail. I want to try to make a background like that.

Lastly, @kitty2cats sent me this adorable Fall themed card! If I wasn’t already in a seasonal mood, this would have taken me there for sure.
These are all great additions to my collection. I store them in binder sleeves so it’s easy to flip through them and see them together.
Postcards
It is only natural that postcards are what I have received most lately. I have a mix of vintage, real, and handmade cards, as well as a very special one!

From left to right, they are from Canada, USA (Swapbot, bottom), Belarus (Postcrossing, top), (Postcrossing, bottom), and USA (Postcrossing, top).

I did a postcard exchange with a fellow blogger, Hilary, and I received one of her cards! I absolutely love the design and colors, I haven’t received one like this before! If you haven’t already, check out her blog Sereneluna, I really enjoy reading her conversations about mental well-being and being true to who you are. Hopefully she receives my card soon, as well🤞!
These two cardboard postcards are my most recently received! I have been joining these “Chunk-o-cardboard” swaps on Swapbot for years and it is always fun to see what people send, and it is a good use of what would otherwise be in the trash.

Even if it’s just cardboard, I wanted to show that people still get decorative with the message sides! I love the Halloween colors of the bottom card.

ATCs

Here are all of the ATCs I remembered to photograph, I think I am missing one or two. The scaredy cat one I blacked out more completely, but I only had a picture of it in progress. This round of cards, I was trying out new things like acrylic paints and patterns, I usually stick with watercolor.
Postcards

Here are the first round of cards that I sent out, sorry for the yellow light! There was someone with an April birthday that loves astrology, so I sent them the Aries constellation card (Germany), then I got lucky and pulled someone from China who’s favorite animals include manatees! The bottom two went out to US and and they requested a card that was of something local.

Here are the cards I sent out for World Postcard day! This year, the limit on the site was 5 cards, but I got tired and went to bed with only 4 official Postcrossing pulls. Top left went out to Canada. Someone’s favorite animal, dolphins, went out to Germany, the vintage card on top went out within the US, bookstore went out to Germany, and the encouragement vending machine was sent to the Netherlands.
My area is sparse when it comes to regional or local postcards so I do send out the same card to different recipients. I always try to pick a card I think they will like, though.

Lastly, here are the three cardboard postcards I sent out! I never have any “fun” cardboard so I like to add some cut outs on the back. All three of these recipients like winter, snow, or the animals featured so it was kind of funny. I am not ready for winter, though!
Closing
That was a good amount of mail! It is an accumulation of a couple of months, but the postcards are all very recent. What was your favorite ATC or postcard? Let me know, and I will see you tomorrow!

Hands down… that poor pickle 😂
