2026 is the first year that I have been tagged in any blogging tags or challenges, and so far I have been tagged for two separate ones! I feel very grateful to be a part of the community here after doing it solo for so long. I have been on WordPress consistently since 2020, but I wasn’t interacting much until 2023, and I have made some great connections since then.
Every post that I see in my reader brings light into the part of my brain that feeds on creativity, and I want to thank Ruler of Twilight for both creating and tagging me in this challenge! They post a a variety of things from poems to memes, and more cool challenges like this one, so be sure to check them out. Here’s the outline for the challenge:
Just write something that says, “I see you, I care for you, and I am here to support you”. Whether it’s a poem or an inspiring image, go for it.
Then, tag. Tag three people. Tag ninety people.
- Thank whoever tagged you
- Add your “I see you”
- Tag
One more thing, do it over and over again. Even if you’re tagged once. Tag people multiple times (not in one post). It is meant to never end.
Part of the reason why I am so late in participating in this tag is because I struggled with what to share. I am very self-critical, how can I encourage someone when I feel like the least qualified person? I run my own blog where I yap and yap, but the best way for me to show up for someone is to sit with them and just listen. The prompt is “I see you”, and with a lot of thought, inspiration came.
Turning to my circle, I asked people in my life this: What is the most helpful or encouraging piece of life advice that you have been given or have thought of yourself?
A direct quote from my boyfriend was “F*ck everyone else”. Very solid advice lol.
From my brother, “If I’m gonna life, I’d be stupid to live like I’m already dead”.
When I asked my mom, she said “Silence is the only thing that can’t be repeated”. This advice can be applied to many different situations.
For my own advice, I want to tell you that you deserve to be creative. There’s a never ending to-do list, expectations, a brain that never turns off. In the midst of it all, you feel like you can’t do something creative or indulge in hobbies because you don’t “deserve to” until you’ve completed it all. That is something that I have experienced a lot of, and it pretty much paralyzed my life for a long time. If you ever feel that way, I see you!
I want to tag anyone who wants to participate, and thank you for reading this short post. I will see you all tomorrow!

Silence Is Golden! But back then I loved the noise… 😂

Thank you for the reminder! Maybe a lot of people don’t experience analysis paralysis, executive dysfunction, or struggle with decision fatigue, but I definitely do!
It’s been an entire lifetime of learning how to take better care of myself (while also taking care of my responsibilities)… to the point that creative endeavors have always seemed to come last. I expend a lot of creativity at work everyday but that’s not necessarily the self-serving type of creativity that makes me feel good. I suppose we all have room to reflect on this prompt and see where we can give ourselves more grace and acknowledge that one day at a time is ok! 🫶

You are most welcome!
I loved your post. It was a great idea to ask friends and family for advice.
I especially loved your mom’s bit about silence. Quiet is a true treasure.
If you want another challenge, I have the avatar challenge going right now. Although it ends October 28th. https://dancer2010b49ab801397.wordpress.com/2026/10/07/the-avatar-challenge-falling-leaves-edition/

These two episodes of DLTDGB were based on an actual incident in my past where I felt seen and cared for. That’s the first thing that comes to mind when I read this.
