Hello again, grub buds!

Hopping on a lazy topic for this week’s post, I am thankful for the discussion brought by February 14th.

However, I am very single, and as a result, I thought that I would entertain my lonely heart with a few Valentine’s Day themed questions, presented to you by this website:

So let’s get into the questions!

1. Would you ever marry yourself?

If I were to marry myself, we would get absolutely nothing done, whether in sync with our “ok time to try now” mindset or not, so unfortunately that answer is no.

2. Have you ever liked someone and never told them?

Basically every time I’ve ever liked someone, yeah.

3. What was your childhood nickname?

KK and Naked Mole Rat haha.

4. Are you afraid of the dark?

. . . slightly,,,

5. Do you believe in love at first sight?

Absolutely not. I believe love doesn’t just happen, it takes work.

6. If you’re being really quiet, what does it mean?

It usually means that I’m thinking, sometimes it is really deep and meaningful, sometimes it’s just ‘jaundice, lmao, also why the f**k can’t I feel my intestines?’. But I feel like everyone can relate to that.

7. What are you paranoid about?

My biggest root of paranoia is that someone is watching me while I sleep. I can hang my foot off the edge of my bed with no fear that someone is under there, but I have to leave my door cracked at night so my cats don’t do bezerk, and there’s always that 0.009 percent that someone is watching.

I also have this paranoia that my face doesn’t actually look like my face, but I believe the term for that is dysmorphia so who really knows.

8. Do you believe everyone deserves a second chance?

In the moral context, no. Without a doubt, no. But I believe everyone deserves a chance to get back up after they’ve fallen down. Second chances are so complicated, what do you think?

9. What’s one thing you wish you could change about yourself?

This is also a complicated question, but if it were just for a day, I’d like to be a male. Not to be a hippie, but I believe that my soul has lived through many bodies and it’s most recent one was male, and while I feel fine with my gender as female and would not ever go though any transition to change it, I do feel a slight discomfort with the ideas and general mental shape that being female naturally warps into. It’s quite interesting to think about becoming the opposite gender for a day, as I’m sure everyone has wondered about. But if we changed the specifics of the question to more do-able things, I’d say that I would change my indecisiveness.

10. Do you believe there is a perfect match for every person

Deep inside, no, I don’t think so.

However I would like to believe there is.

I am experiencing some form of writer’s block as my main writing content will come from my travels starting in just a month, but I am enjoying the writing exersise that these pre-travel post are giving me for my more important content.
