Just like that, we have passed the mid-point of the month. This week was pretty chill, and I did a lot of the same things every day. Things will start to pick up in the following weekends, though!

Monday, October 12

Weather: 91 F (33 C), sunny

I may or may not have re-entered my Vinted selling frenzy on Sunday and spend the entirety of Monday going through all of my clothes and belongings and listing them to sell. I ended up with a huge pile of things to mail off! I may have also ended up buying a few items as well 😅. Out with the old, in with the new (to me).

Tuesday, October 13

Weather: 89 F (32 C), partly cloudy

I spent another day in the decluttering frenzy, but also took a trip down memory lane on Facebook while writing my Talk or Treat post. Dylan had a job interview in which he will go on to a second one on Thursday, so I cooked him a steak and mashed potatoes lol.

I had Tori try on all of her old clothes to see what fit and what she grew out of. She looks over it 🤣.

Something cool happened today, though. You may have noticed a small embed at the end of some of my posts stating that it is 100% human written. I have been using madebyhumans.diy to draft a lot of my posts this month, and the creator reached out to me! They were super nice and said that they enjoy seeing me use the site. I encourage writers to check it out, they have a great message and I enjoy using their playback features.

Later that night, I went over to Dylan’s to work on my Halloween party decorations and write some postcards.

Wednesday, October 14

Weather: 80 F (27 C), rainy

It rained for the entirety of the morning up into noon. I set up a small Halloween station on the coffee table with Crazy Aaron’s putty, Nee Dohs, and other things just for fun if someone wanted to squish them. I don’t use them enough!

It stopped raining by around 3pm, so I went out and started collecting leaves for my entry for the Avatar Challenge, which you can see here. I ended up making a leaf crown! Mom and I hit up Goodwill that evening again, and I took this picture on the way there.

Thursday, October 15

Weather: 81 F (27 C), rainy

Today was a repeat of any other day this week. I spent the night at Dylan’s, and went back home to take my photos for the Avatar Challenge. Then, I spent time listing items on Vinted and packing orders.

At night, I started looking around online for inspiration for my small Halloween party. I have been making my decorations so far, but it never hurts to find some more ideas.

Friday, October 16

Weather: 61 F (16 C), partly cloudy

It was so cold today! I got out my small heater and was trying to stay warm. I was also extremely tired today for some reason. I had a cup of coffee and an energy drink and was still dragging. I listed some more things on Vinted and then started working on some sewing crafts in the evening before taking a nap.

It will stay cool through the weekend, so Dylan and I have some fun plans both indoors and out!

Closing Out

This week was kind of boring in terms of themed activities, but rain puts a damper on things for me. The rain was needed, but bleh. I hope everyone had a good week, and I will see you all tomorrow!
