I have spent the last two months enjoying the medieval fantasy aesthetic, and I have taken my blog along for the ride. We have listened to Bardcore, played middle-age themed video games, and even done some fun crafts. What does that say about me?

For September, I want to have a small pallet cleanser. Not completely, because I am in full Autumn/Blogtober/Halloween mode, but I will spare those posts until the time is right. While I spend time preparing Blogtober posts, let’s have some fun with some nostalgia and exploring new concepts.

First, I want to analyze my handwriting. This was the inspiration for this entire month! I write a lot by hand every day, so my mind naturally drifted to what others may think of my wild handwriting.

Next, I want to take a step back in time and retake some of the personality tests I remember being obsessed with during my teenage-hood. It has been so long since I thought about the MBTI test and the Enneagram test. I wonder if anything has changed.

Those two prompts are set in stone, but if I get to it, I also want to analyze my color pallet. What colors look best on me? Have I been flattering my complexion or washing myself out?

Astrology is a very easy one to cover, however I don’t want it to be a main focus in a post. For anyone who is wondering, I am a Sagittarius with an Aries moon and rising.

Just for fun, what do my pop culture alignments say about me? How do you compare, if you are familiar with these bookish factions:

Hogwarts House: Gryffindor! I have been a Gryffindor since I was 11, and I have taken the test repeatedly over the years whether it be from the official pottermore website or fan-made quizzes.

Divergent Faction: Amity. I used to be obsessed with Dauntless, just because that was the cool option for an emo teen, but I think I prefer Amity now. They give off hippie vibes that I can relate to at times.

Camp Half-Blood Cabin: 15. I am a big dreamer.

Panem District: 10, This is geography-based, but I love the Hunger Games so I had to include it.

Prythian Court: Day Court. Of course Velaris of the Night Court sounds cool but Feyre and Rhysand annoy me too much to be ruled by them. The descriptions of the Day Court just sound warm and cheerful. Helion is also a cool and complex character. I feel like there was more hinted at him than was revealed in the ACOTAR series.

And the most important book question of all that has nothing to do with classifications or location: Edward or Jacob?

Since this isn’t an “aesthetic” theme, I have no Pinterest board or YouTube videos to share.
