Shows That Have Been on My TV Recently

I am not a huge TV series person, if I had the choice I usually go for YouTube instead. I can be picky with shows and there isn’t really a rhyme or reason that I have figured out yet because once I like a show, I will just rewatch it, and browsing rarely yields success.

Luckily, some of my liked shows all have come out with new seasons around the same time frame! I am kind of late in watching these shows, but I like to make sure that all of the episodes are out and that I am mentally prepared for whatever happens haha. I’ve been watching all of these series one after another and I have been on some kind of TV kick. That kick has been slowing down, so now is probably the best time to share!

Fallout (Season 2)

By the time I got around to watching the second season of Fallout, all the episodes had been released and I sat down and binge watched the entire season. Yes, the whole thing. Well into the night. I couldn’t shut my eyes longer than to blink without thinking about the next episode.

I had been playing Fallout New Vegas in preparation for this season to come out and I’m glad I did because I was able to get some references. This show has an air of light-heartedness that I really enjoy. I feel like Fallout has always been humorous and I get lost in being terrified of radiated bugs and my horrible aiming skills.

While watching the first season I didn’t know how to feel about Max, but watching the second season I really wanted him to be reunited with Lucy haha. Caesar’s Legion rivalry was hilarious, and I am very curious about where the next season will take us, especially with what Lucy’s dad left behind and Lucy’s brother!

Looking for photos to add to this section, I am reading that there is a large population that didn’t like this season at all because of the pacing and that it was “just bad”. Maybe I don’t watch enough TV to be a real critic but I enjoyed it.

Invincible (Season 4)

I have been watching and waiting for new Invincible seasons since 2023, but this year it seems to have blown up all over my social media for the first time, I feel like I kind of had to start watching before I could let all the episodes be released because I kept getting spoiled!!

And don’t even get me started on the comment section, the people who have read the entire comic series love to ruin everything. I am currently trying to forget something I read as a major spoiler as I write this.

But anyway, I have seen a lot of discourse about decreased animation quality, but as someone who doesn’t watch a lot of animated television, that isn’t really something that bothers me at all. My only thing is that this isn’t my favorite season based on content. I know there has to be a pickup after the fall and not everything can be high energy, but Seasons 2 and 3 were definitely my favorites, and I’m not sure they can be topped.

I am also not really a fan of Eve being you know what, but that’s just my personal gripe haha. It all has to follow the comics, so I will respect that if that’s how the story progresses.

Love on the Spectrum (Season 4)

This is more of a fun and lighthearted show that I don’t watch right away, but I am always glad that I decide to tune in. I’m sure most people who have Netflix have watched it because it is also all over my social media right now.

The new singles in the show cracked me up, especially Logan with his imaginary girlfriend, Tifa from Final Fantasy. I nearly spit my drink out when I heard him say that because I never thought I’d hear it in the wild like that, and my second reaction was to agree, because we are team Tifa over Aerith in this house.

After going on his first date, he told his family that he had broken up with Tifa, and that she took it well because she was dating “some blonde guy now”. Hilarious!

I also enjoyed seeing reoccurring cast members like Connor and Abbey of course, and congratulations to Madison and Tyler on their engagement. Let’s hope to see her on Say Yes to The Dress!

King of the Hill (All Seasons)

King of the Hill has been something I’ve been chipping away at for months when I get the itch to watch it, and I am currently on season 11. I decided to start from the very beginning so I could get the “full effect” of the show before watching the newest season where time has passed.

When I was younger I always thought King of the Hill was “the boring adult show” and more vulgar shows like Family Guy and American Dad were way more cool for a teenager to watch. While I still enjoy American Dad, King of The Hill is so “slice of life” while still having such comical one-liners and out of nowhere you hear something that just makes you crack up laughing and have to rewind.

Dale does this the most for me, he is probably my most favorite character in the show. I don’t know why, something just reminds me of my home, Arkansas. Not to put that stereotype onto my state, (It gets enough slack as it is that I can neither confirm nor deny) but if you know, you know. You can’t be an Arkansan without meeting a Dale Gribble or at least someone who looks exactly like him.

I am so close to finishing the entire series that I will have to report back after I reach the big time jump. Has anyone else seen the new season? I know that it has been out for a while now.

Well, that’s all I’ve been watching lately in terms of TV shows. What should I watch next? I have been searching for my next watch with little luck so I may fall back into some old faithfuls haha.

Write to you all again soon!
