Weekly Wrap Up 9/29-10/3

Sunday, September 28th

Early this morning, too early to admit, I drove back home from my boyfriend’s with my puppy Tori for her 2 week checkup since her last appointment. Before that, though, we stopped by a pet friendly café called Good Dog Café, I got a lemonade and a vegan sandwich, and my mom got a coffee and an egg and bacon breakfast sandwich. My sandwich was on toasted multigrain bread and it was so delicious.

The puppies got some dog biscuits and after we ate we took them out to the dog park area. They had so much fun sniffing, and then a a dog a lot bigger than them came in. They were so bewildered, barking at the dog, and Wyatt started chasing after her and playing tag. They had a lot of fun until we left to go to the checkup appointment. But when we got there, they were all full and Tori hasn’t been having any issues, so we just went home. When we got home they were so wore out from the excitement of the dog park that they slept like they were in a coma. I also took a nap.

Monday, September 29th

Early this morning, I finished reading the novel The Long Walk. I’ve been wanting to watch the movie, so I read the book first. I read the book in what felt like no time at all, and I really enjoyed it. I went shopping for the guinea pigs 3rd birthday. I went to Target, Ross, and Pet Smart. At Ross, I found a cute sweater for mini schnauzer Wyatt, and he looks so cute.

Tuesday, September 30th

Today, I had my geology class, and I actually decided to get ready for the first time in a bit. I just haven’t been motivated to dress up in more than a t-shirt, jeans, and crazy hair. My hair was crazy today, but I at least tried to put it up, haha. Today, we learned about stream processes. Later that night, mom and I went to Goodwill, and I found some Chaco sandals, a vintage t-shirt, and some history books. I was hoping to find some good young adult books, but none of the choices were too interesting today.

Wednesday, October 1st

Today is the first day of Blogtober, and I am a little nervous because it is finally happening. I have my posts planned, and I can’t back out, but I got some great feedback, and I had a lot of fun reading other people’s first post of the challenge. Today is also World Postcard Day, and I wrote 5 cards: 2 in the US, 1 to Japan, 1 to Germany, and 1 to China. I had to take Tori and Wyatt with me to drop off the cards at the post office, and we stopped by a small dog park. They were the only pups there, but they had a good time sniffing the new area. A small toddler came up to the gate, and they were curious about the small human and licked his tiny hands. It was so cute.

I got bored and decided to clean and reorganize the kitchen, then I had to explain to my family where everything went haha.

Thursday, October 2nd

Today was just alright. I washed my hair, had some coffee, and started to get ready, but i just felt off. I couldn’t find an outfit that I liked, and I had a weird night of sleeping the night before. I wrote a lot for Blogtober this morning, though, so that is one of the only accomplishments I had.

I had a lab exam for Geology that i was nervous about because I didn’t do so well on the practice exam, and yeah, it turns out I didn’t do well on the actual exam either. Looking at rocks and determining X,Y, and Z is not my strong suit, I guess. Im good with minerals, but igneous and metamorphic rocks not so much. It’s kind of disheartening, but I have to keep going. Traffic on the way back home was super annoying, so I drove in silence for the most part 😭.

Friday, October 3rd

I woke up a little later than usual and played Escape the Backrooms with Dylan for the first time. I died in every level we played, and I screamed when I died the first time. So scary! I dont play video games, so I am really bad at them, and I was frustrating dylan because I kept clicking the wrong button on the keyboard 😂. I feel like a grandma sometimes.

The apple festival was today, and even though the breeze felt nice, it was definitely warm. There were a lot of great booths, and everyone got free apple slices. Mom and I ended up with fresh apple cider, cupcakes, some queezable wax for a wax warmer, honeycomb, and a matching flower and bow tie for Tori and Wyatt.

Overall, it was a good week, I had a lot of fun reading everyone’s first week of Blogtober and had some fun moments outside of the house. Im excited to receive some postcards soon!

  1. Aw we don’t have any pet friendly cafes where I live, that’s so cute! (I love your dog’s sweater btw 😍) I wanted to visit the cat cafe and bookshop we passed in Savannah a few years ago, but I don’t think my allergies would let me be in a room with that many pets… 😝
